Fees
Transparency is important to me. Before commencing representation, I clarify with you the expected effort, the sensible approach and the expected costs.
Transparent remuneration – appropriate to the proceedings.
- Flat fees (for clearly delimited procedural stages)
- Hourly fee
- Attorneys’ Tariff Act (RATG)
- General fee criteria (AHK)
- Legal expenses insurance (processing possible, where applicable)
- Litigation funding (if suitable in media and media criminal law after review and approval by the litigation funding company)
Depending on the mandate, billing is carried out by hourly fee, as a flat fee for clearly delimited procedural steps, or under the Attorneys’ Tariff Act (RATG). If legal expenses insurance exists, I support, upon request, the coverage request and processing. In suitable cases in media and media criminal law, litigation funding can also be examined.
Initial consultation
An initial consultation, during which I take personal time to discuss your matter, is subject to a fee. The specific cost depends on the scope of the advice required and on whether you have legal expenses insurance that covers the consultation. After you have outlined the facts of your case in writing or by telephone, I will inform you transparently of the fee for the initial consultation. If you subsequently retain me on the basis of a flat fee arrangement, the cost of the initial consultation may be credited against that flat fee.
